I'm writing you this email because I am trying to get the community of Des Moines, Iowa involved in something that I feel very passionate about. I am a volunteer for an organization called http://www.soldiersangels.com/. This website pairs up ordinary people with troops all over the world fighting in the war. We are always in need of more volunteers everyday. I have 3 soldiers right now, and wish I could adopt more, but this website puts a restriction on the # of soldiers you adopt. As of today, there are 875 soldiers patiently waiting to be adopted. I am asking, begging really for any help you can give. We're in dire need of donations, anything from shaving cream to pillows. Also, people willing to sign up and adopt a soldier. If you can help in any way, please do.
